I absolutely adored this little pop up book, I read it with my son and since receiving it it’s beed read over and over.
I think it helps it’s so interactive, my son is very delayed in talking but he was actually chattering at the pictures and enjoyed lifting the flaps as we read the story.
The repetition of the words and the counting the penguins on every page gave some structure an routine to the story that he could follow easily as he has learning issues and the amount of times we read it he was counting along with me.
The illustrations and interactive element made this magical and a really special read.
Even as an adult I really enjoyed it too and was read many times over the festive season.
I’m so happy to see some picture books included for reviewing as my young son also gets to join in and it’s never too early to introduce a reading regime.
