My son loved this book. He is penguin obsessed and has special needs so loved all the lift flaps. The pictures are really bright and eye catching great for little ones to keep them really interested as you read the story. It’s also not too complicated that they will remember the words and read along with you. It’s based very loosely on the five little ducks went swimming one day principal but with penguins instead. Really lovely pictures and narrative. Suitable for little ones ideally between 2-5 so they can follow mama penguin and see if you can find her penguins who are often hidden behind other people and items. It does appear that they will all disappear rather than come back at the end. Thankfully there was a happy outcome and all the little penguins came back and mama was a happy penguin. I would recommend this book for little ones that enjoy lift flap and penguins
