This is a really beautiful festive children’s book and I can’t wait to read it every winter for years to come. My little boy was born in October and he already loves to be read to and I can’t wait until he starts to be able to interact with the lift the flaps aspect of this lovely book. The story is ideal for little ones learning to read and repeat phrases and learn to count. The illustrations are so gorgeous and every time I read this book wit my little boy I discover another little character hidden away in the pages. The penguins are so cute and remind me of the characters In happy feet which will be a movie I can’t wait to watch with my little boy and relate back to when reading this book. Highly recommend this book and it would be ideal as part of a Christmas Eve box or a Christmas book advent. 5 stars. I also look forward to discovering more books by both the author and illustrator.
