I like the concept of the tomboy learning to fish with her father, and through time and tragedy fall into crime and robbery. The writing in this didn't grab my imagination particularly, and I didn't feel I was getting to know the characters.
It could turn out fantastic, or end up being fairly boring. Time will tell!
