I don't read a lot of historical fiction but based on the blurb this definitely sounds like an intriguing story. It starts off strongly and I really liked the way the prologue set the scene for what is to come. I did find the number of characters introduced in a short space of time a little confusing and a lot does seem to happen but Jenny seems like she could be a great character. I would be interested in seeing where this story goes.
