This is not a type of book i would read and those which are based on a real life person as well i tend to avoid as i do not really like them.
I have never heard of Mary Bryant so i did some research on her and it helped me with some information.
What i find strange was why the author used a different name Jenny Trelawney and not her real name.
It starts in the village of Penmor, Southern Cornwall in the late 1700 and she is forced to provide for her family after the death of her father. I was not really sure if many of the parts were just dramatized for effects or if it actually happened in real life.
It showed her journey and the people she met through it and it did bore me halfway as it was not a topic i enjoyed very much.
