The cover to this book drew me in instantly. I love fantasy reads especially with a gothic atmosphere within. After reading the first impression it appears to be beautifully written too but a bit too middle grade for me. It is most certainly a lovely story that many will enjoy but it just wouldn’t hit the spot for me.
