When I started reading the First Look of this book, I must admit I thought it was going to be a comedy. But it seems I was mistaken, so I am not so keen to get stuck into this story. That being said, however, I usually find "gothic" is so melodramatic that it parodies itself. So I am willing to try this book out to see if I can squeeze any laughs out of it.
