Characters with a mystery in their past always seem to have an appeal to me and so a book based upon this with a touch of Gothic and fantasy seems even more appealing. The books cover is beautiful too with the feather centrally placed hinting at the cherub mentioned in the synopsis. I can already see myself enjoying this greatly and doing well just in time for Christmas.
