The start of the story seems quite quirky and conjures up images of Miss Peregrine and Lemony Snicket. So many questions are raised about Cassie’s family and the enigmatic Raphael and the dramatic arrival of the cherub heightens the tension. I want to find out more about whether Cassie will fight for the owls and what the predator is that is pursuing the cherub. Already hooked!
