I really liked this first impression, it was well written and you could really picture the house on a rock and the surrounding area. Cassie and Raphael seem to be likeable characters; not so much of a fan of Mother though!
I like the cover, I think that it would appeal to the book's target market - I've got one of them in my house, and I'm sure they'd devour this book in one sitting!
