Firstly I loved the cover and the title - love the dark mysterious colours which made me stop and look at it. Then I just had to read the first chapter excerpt. The novel is written in a very easy to follow style - we get to know the main character and a few intriguing details from her life. And it's in the first chapter a mysterious creature lands in Cassie's room! I'd love to know what will happen next and how she'll cope with unexpected events.
