I didn't even get half way through. I definitely think this would be better recieved by it's target demographic. I found it far too fast paced. Everything happened all at once and there was no build up or suspense. The characters were interesting and distinctive. The cover is beautiful and i liked the concept, i just think it needed more of a build up. I may go back to it at a later date but i think the pace will appeal to the children that it is aimed at. After the lack of suspense, she found an agel and then that seemed to drag out and I was waiting to see what she was going to do with it or who she was going to tell and it just never seem to come. In that respect it was a bit back to front. My hopes were so high for this but just fell short. I will look out for her other books because i the idea of definitely there, maybe it just was not for me. I think i will pass it on to my neice.
