I picked this book up as the title intrigued me (and because the cover is absolutely stunning lol) and upon reading the blurb, I decided to give it a go.
I enjoyed it thoroughly and whizzed through the book and didn't put it down until I had finished it! so for me, this was one of those books that are so engaging you finish it in one sitting. I loved Cassie a lot and was in full support of the dynamic between her and Raphael.
All in all, it was a beautiful story, one of which I strongly recommend you read as it is amazingly written. I especially loved the fact that this book was a mix of fairy-tale along with gothic and evil themes, which I find unusual and have not read a book similar to this before. So, like i said I would recommend this book and it is suitable for young readers of around 11+ and would be a great book to read with a child. However i am a teenager and still thoroughly enjoyed the book!
