Interesting but not for me

The extract was interesting but the frequent use of terminology and acronyms spoiled it for me. I felt like it needed to come with its own glossary. I normally like memoirs but I'm not too sure about this one. It didn't capture my imagination, mainly due to the subject nature (war).
