A different tale
This book puzzled me at the start. I mean , why would any one want to write a book on the always in the news subject of ISIS and the war. To do so would be taking on a huge risk that people may not want to buy or read the book just because of the topic and therefore it woulnd't become a best seller.
Having started the first few pages i sort of got into why people were there telling what was happening but to be honest the book never got me gripped. Truth thoughout the pages of a war torn country and people leading their daily lives yet struggling to survive through lack of simple things such as food or yet more mortar fire and gun fire.
I have to admit that had I not been given this book to read I would , and even now, happily pass it by and choose something else.
I would say if you are really into books like this then maybe it is for you ....otherwise it could be a disappointment
