Exceptionally well written.

If I had to review this book n one work it would have to be "shocking". I absolutely love these types of books and this one was no exception. It starts off with the protagonist, I'm guessing, who is hungry and cold. The people are in Kobani in northern Syria where ISIS were making the lives of everyone there hell. I adored Joanna Palani's writing style and cant wait to look up more of her books to add to my ever long list of books to get! I find books like this one very interesting as its about things that have actually happened/ are actually happening in the world. I feel like everyone needs to read this book and ones similar to educate ourselves and the world about the disgusting things some people are going through. Overall this was a very worthwhile preview and I can wait to read more!
