Interesting
As soon as I saw the cover of this book I was drawn to it. I wanted to learn more about what this experience had been like. In that respect, the preview that I read, did not disappoint. It is a first person account of an experience fighting ISIS.
This book appears to be very much a matter of fact account from somebody had been in that scenario (that only a very small percentage of people will ever experience). That in itself makes it a very interesting read. It is written in very straight forward to understand language and even from the little that I was able to read, it seemed to explain a fair amount about the history of the troubles and some of the back story to what was going on. This helped me to understand the book a lot easier, as this isn’t something I know a lot about.
