Very good
When I first saw this book I thought it looked very good and informative and it was certainly that.
Joanna Palani describes how her life is as a Kurd and although they were given asylum in Denmark even before she joined to become a freedom fighter was hard as it would seem being born female made you an underclass and have no rights to do as they want, if feels almost a relief when she joins to fight.
In some places I did wonder if she was telling the whole truth about things or embellishing in places for the book, it seemed far to easy to be able to leave Denmark to join it but whatever even if it is embellished she has more guts than I would ever have.
All in all a very good book and one from which I learned a lot, certainly worth a read
