I like the book opening with the narration by a deceased character. Danny observes his "friends" and their behavior at his funeral and cynically discloses that the group is not as close as they claim to be. After the funeral, his friend Ruby assumes narration duties and continues the revelations of the rifts within the group. Secrets are hinted at and I cannot wait to learn what everyone is trying to hide.
