I love that the book starts with a chapter written as if spoken by Danny (now deceased). In that first chapter you can feel his anger and resentment towards the crew. The second chapter when they get their letters leaves you wanting to know what they have all done. Fantastic way to start a book and really pulls you in. Would love to continue reading it.
