What a good start! Firstly we have the dead Danny describing everyone at his funeral and then we meet the friends at his mothers house when there are secrets to be revealed.
I liked Ruby - the heroine of the story who has returned to town after 10 years and has her own secret to hide. I was less sympathetic to other characters but I feel as though that's what the author wanted us to feel - and that is a compliment! I would love to read more
