I already know that this is going to be one to get the brain whirring. It already seems so clever, and carefully written. It was the minimalist cover that drew me in. Then, I read the description and the first impressions sneak peek. I just have to have this book.

I loved how we first hear from the character that has passed away, as it feels like we as the audience are getting the kind of, inside scoop. Then there’s the title. When do the lines between friends and liars start to blur? Because we’ve all had ‘friends’ like that. I feel as if this story is going to display that dynamic in an odd, yet addictive way.

As I said, I am desperate to read this book. It is going to make us doubt a lot of our friendships, I feel. In my opinion, any book that makes us question our own lives is a book that is incredible. So therefore I cannot wait to get my hands on this story.
