Friends and Liars by Kaela Coble is one of my favourite novels.
I found it pretty amazing how this story starts and all fits together. The ending is extraordinary, it gave me full appreciation for the way the author planned out all the drama.

From the circle of friends Ruby is invited to go to the private service Danny requested. The thing is Ally and Ruby haven't spoken to each other in ten whole years. Within the ten years that all of the crew of friends haven't seen each other they all seemed to have moved on in their life, or have they?
Ruby is one of those characters who seems to thinks she knows everything about everyone. But she didn't even pick up the phone in ten years to talk to any of her friends. Which is rather a very long time not to make contact with any of her friends.
Danny leaves an envelope for each of his friends that contain evidence of betrayal. Everyone there has a choice they can either share their letter with each other or keep it to themselves. If they all read their letters out loud secrets, betrayal, would be uncovered about every person in the group. Will the crew of friends want to risk their secrets being exposed. I think it would be quite embarrassing for any of the so called friends telling everyone what secret Danny has exposed about them. Will any of them dare to read their letter out loud what Danny has said about them?
Kaela Coble has a fantastic cast of characters that I enjoyed reading about them all I warmed to every character for different reasons.

I really enjoyed reading this work of fiction. I have read a similar fantastic book with reading out letters that was The Fifth Letter by Nicola Moriarty where friends write an anonymous letter sharing their secrets. I recommend reading both books Friends and Liars by Kaela Coble and The Fifth Letter by Nicola Moriarty.
