I thought this book was really good. I was expecting to enjoy it as I enjoy books about friendships with a good dose of mystery which Friends and Liars definitely had. The story moved along at a good pace and the chapters set in the past have he present set chapters more impact. I found the setup of the plot really intriguing and all the characters were interesting in their own right.
Occasionally I got a little bit tired of waiting for all the secrets that the characters were hiding to be revealed but in the end I liked how they all came out. There were quite a few revelations that I definitely did not see coming which I enjoyed being shocked by.
Overall this is a really enjoyable book about secrets, lies, friendship and the hold our pasts have on us.
