Unfortunately this one isn't for me. I don't mind the odd war/history novel but I just couldn't get into the story. The style of writing is great, very apt for it's time, with light humor and highlights of taboo, non PC ways of thinking, exactly how folks were "back in the day". My mum would love this book, she likes a good dose of history and espionage.
