I really enjoyed the first impression so much that I actually gave it the full five stars but unfortunately after that I just couldn’t get into it. I eventually lost interest and DNF’d at page fifty.
I didn’t connect to much with the characters after the first few chapters as they felt kind of flat and boring. As I wasn’t able to finish the book I can’t comment too much on the plot line but what I read seemed slow and dragged on, making it more difficult.
One thing a did like about the book though was the cover which drew me in the first place.
I’m quite frustrated as I really wanted to like this book and tried so hard over the months to pick it back up and try again but just couldn’t.
