Well firstly, I have to say I enjoyed this so much more than I expected!
It’s a packet well written novel which keeps you interested and wanting more! The novel is based in the Cold War era. This is a tale of betrayal, murder, espionage, love and loyalty set in the privileged strata of society. The Troy family are an in-depth group of characters which will keep you intrigued. Freddie Troy is one of the main characters and he finds him self within many difficult situations.
This is not a book I would normally have chosen although I enjoy thrillers and I would have avoided this subject matter. But reading this has proven that I should venture out of my comfort zone as there are many more interesting books to be read.
