The storyline is gripping from the start. We are introduced to a character who undergoes something horrific. We then meet a police officer who is investigating a murder whereby the victim may well be the initial character we were introduced to. It is well-written, set in an interesting location and definitely makes me want to find out more and what will happen next. It is a book that I feel I would enjoy reading, even if it is rather gruesome in it's descriptions at times.
