I love a strong female lead in thriller books and that is exactly what DI Monica Kennedy seems to be. This sounds like a fantastic work of suspenseful thriller that will leave the reader on the edge of their seat and both DI Kennedy and the Social Worker, Michael Bach, race against time before another person is killed. With the cover already giving the book a creepy feel with a silhouette set against a vast and remote landscape and the fading time, I'm sure this book will have a brilliantly tense atmosphere and will make for an eerie, exhilarating read
