From The Shadows is a truly excellent read. It has a number of dark turns, revelations and twists and the characters are rich, well developed and believable. Without spoiling the ending this novel keeps you guessing until the very last minute as to who it is and the final twist is shocking, moving, and terrifying. For a debut novel from a new author, this was a skilled piece of writing which generated an atmosphere which was entirely immersive and drew the reader in and left me feeling like I was there with the characters. I'm looking forward to reading more from this new author and hope all of the future books are as good as this one was. Pick up a copy, trust me you won't be disappointed.
