This is a major new Scottish crime series and I feel privileged to have read an early copy.
The story line was second to none. As an avid reader of thrillers I can usually guess a plot, but certainly not with ‘From the Shadows’!
From the very first page a thrilling read , even more so as it is a large book of 422 pages. Each of these pages gifted the reader with an escape from the real world. Escaping into the wilds of the Scottish Highlands following
the story of not only a dedicated Police Detective in search of a vicious and complex serial killer, but with a breadth of characters and a plot that will leave you quite breathless at times. I found myself so empathetic that I had tears in my eyes at times.
