First impression I was excited by the concept but on page 172 I gave up.
The Scottish Highlands seemed like an interesting setting but having no notion of where all of this even is, I was lost on the concept of how far everything was from each other or place names. As for character names, I got lost with who was who and needed regular reminding who each of them were. For a female detective, she seemed very preoccupied by everyone else's perception of her size, as a tall woman myself, I find it unbelievable that it needed brought up at every chance. Disappointed and wouldn't have minded finding out who the killer was but to be honest, I don't care enough to push myself through to carry on reading.
