I enjoyed this book with it's well thought out setting, plot and details but did however get lost in some small parts which took away from the book's quality a book.
Firstly, I thought the idea of the setting being in Highlands in Scotland was ingenious due to how it set the scene for crime and murder. It was written well with a good pace and at times was very thrilling and I could really see this as a TV show that I would most certainly watch.
What did let it down for me personally was the characters. The amount of characters got confusing at times especially do to the complicated situations it was a bit hard to follow in some places.
But, despite this is was overall a good read that offers the thrill that you would expect from a book of this genre.
