Good
I really enjoyed the rich setting of this. It appealed to me initially due to the Scottish background, and then further because of its crime nature. I do love a good thriller.
The book developed at a good pace, increasing frustration to a point, but not to the point of dragging it out, which some thriller books can do.
The characters were relateable, although some in particular could be a little difficult to read at times.
The ending was slightly predictable, though having read a number of books of this type it's not surprising, but I can't say it ruined my enjoyment of the novel.
