A murder mystery set in the Scottish highlands. I thought it was an enjoyable read and I was intrigued and invested in the story from beginning to end. I thought it was well written, very dark and atmospheric, I really felt the coldness of being on the Scottish highlands. I also felt the fear and chills along with the victims. I enjoyed that it was written from multiple perspectives including The Watcher/killer. I thought the characters were well written although the multiple descriptions of how tall the lead detective was and how big her feet were was a bit too much, also the amount of guilt she felt being a single mum got on my nerves too. This didn't take away my enjoyment of the story and I would like to read more from this author.
