I don’t know why but I’m never drawn to books based in the UK. Maybe it’s just the authors I read are mainly based elsewhere but I really did enjoy this book.
The story begins with a body being found in the remote highlands. As the story progresses, it is obvious to the Detective Inspector Monica Kennedy that there will be more murders. It becomes a race against time to get to the bottom of these crimes and find the murderer. Meanwhile a social worker, Michael Bach is worried about one of his clients who has been missing for seven days. There is quite a bit going on in this book.
The book is well written and I will definitely read more books by this author.
