Well written and good range of detail pertaining to an investigation into murder and a serial killer with a weird obssession.I know all fictional detectives have to have a ' thing ' and Monica's is her height and maybe her build, but I didn't like the mention of that as I felt it offered little to the story. Her single mindedness is what our fictional detectives are more famous for and her's affected her relationship with her young child and her mother. Good amount of twists and turns and the story is as much about Michael , a social worker, and his quest to find one of his clients. Found the story didn't always hold my attention but might try another by this author. Goof first novel from the author
