This book draws you in right from the first page, the first boy’s body being found.
Boys are going missing, seemingly at first that they have left and gone out by their own free will. DI Monica Kennedy is tasked with the job of heading up the investigation but as others go missing so things get more confused.
Social worker Michael Bach is looking for a lost boy that he had missed an appointment with and now cannot trace, he reported it to the police but with so much happened they were not really all that interested in missing Nichol but he did get called into see if the first body found was of Nichol and then also met DI Kennedy.
I enjoyed this book but normally warm a little to the main investigation character but with this one I didn’t, I got very fed up being told how tall she was and how her feet hurt being in boots a size too small because she didn’t want to wear a size 10, seemed rather superfluous and added nothing to the story, all in all though it was a really good read
