This is a mostly well written piece, but there we were a few confusing jargon intense sentences.
The plot is good, murder and police work is a theme I like. But the characters did not draw me in.
The one character that could have hooked me was the shady underworld boss man on the end of the phone to Ryan. Alas he barely developed in 30 pages.
Some folk have enjoyed this, so it will likely be a good read for somebody, just not me.
