I was really looking forward to reading this extract and it certainly didn't disappoint! The descriptive narrative had me hooked almost instantly and the characters seem really interesting too. The cover is the only let down here. The cover picture is a bit average for my liking and the typography could have been better. I'd like to see the title in a larger font as it doesn't stand out enough. The font size is similar to that used for the author's name. Despite this, I'm excited to read this book and I hope the rest of the book is just as good as the extract!
