You probably need a robust constitution to read this book - with the focus on violence, murder, swearing, gang warfare from the start. After the fairly grim opening, I wasn't much minded to see it through to the bitter end. However, the author skilfully varies her writing style to reflect the different characters' perspectives in the different chapters. If gritty, hard-hitting crime fiction is your thing you'll probably love it!
