The opening excerpts immediately drew me into this complex sounding crime story so I'm sure that the rest of the novel will keep me engaged, eager to discover what has happened to the various characters. With knife-crime and gang activities on the increase in cities across the country, this feels like a very topical story. I'm sure that the author's own experience of working with troubled youngsters will add some authentic insights.
