Well written, pacey start. We start at a funeral with the police officer detailing her perspective on attending the funeral of someone she was meant to save, but couldn’t. Then we flash back in time to the murder, the desperation of the paramedic trying to save the victims life, with the chaos around him as he desperately struggles to get the necessary help. I can’t wait to read more
