Gallowstree lane is a brilliant crime novel which is utterly gripping from the start. When a teenage boy is stabbed in a London street plans start to derail with a two year police operation in jeopardy dectective kieran shaw will do anything to make sure everything goes to plan. Finding out how Ryan who witnessed the Murder of his best friend copes with everything from wanting revenge to asking why and who would Murder a fifteen year old boy. With shakiel being the leader of the Bluds and Ryan believing he owes shakiel for getting revenge for his dads Murder years before you wonder as you read the book how far will Ryan go for loyalty for shakiel. I would definitely recommend this book. Great read
