First off i want to say the front cover is very fitting to the story and as soon as you look at the cover you get a crime scene, detective vibe from it which I love. I loved the plot of this book and also the authors writing style, which just flowed, I couldn't out the book down! I love how there are different points of view and with each character in the book adding their own view of the story to help you piece the whole thing together. I loved how you couldn't help but feel bad for Ryan because he was just a little kid who couldn't help fall in with bad people. You also felt bad for Lexi who didn't mean to get anyone killed, she was just doing her best to survive. I also liked how you don't need to read the whole series to understand what was happing in the book, unlike some other books which you feel a bit lost reading if you haven't read the other ones in the series.
