What a smashing book this is. It’s really well written and the characters are really interesting and well drawn and not just cardboard cutouts. You can see that the author is an ex Metropolitan Police officer as the detail is so good.
The story is so relevant to what’s going on with young people today and shows just how easy it is for them to get sucked into the gang culture and drug dealing. The tit-for-tat violence between the gangs is awful and such a waste of young lives.
I’m sorry to say I’d never heard of the author, Kate London, before. This is the third book in the series featuring police officers Lizzie Griffiths and Sarah Collins and I’ve been so impressed that I’ve ordered the two previous books.
