I really loved this book, it was a great high tempo police based crime thriller, with a really modern edge.
This book reads well as a stand alone-although it is number three in a series - and deals head on with some serious issues in modern day London. After a teenager is stabbed to death at the start of the book, this then merges with an investigation into the selling of guns and a gang war. The book is set over a three / four day period and the pace is great, as are the details of the conflicting police investigations. All the main characters are believable, and the interplay between them rings true.
I have not read any books by Kate London before, but this book would encourage me to seek more out. I really enjoyed it, and would highly recommend.
