This was quite a predictable book; predictable characters and predictable plot. The book centres around several police/investigators trying to solve the street murder of a teenage boy. For me, this did not engage my attention and I found it to be quite drawn out and at some points, dull.

Having said that, this would be a fascinating book to read for those who are keen in criminal investigation and crime genres. I found myself curious as to how the work of each investigator would contribute to the bigger picture. It gives you the 'behind the scene' look into all the work that goes into solving a crime. The book also highlights the key issues for youths in London today, giving the raw reality of gangs, drugs and crimes.

Overall, the book was not for me but that is simply because of personal preference. For those who love crime genres, then I'm sure you would enjoy this book!
