Loved the first look so was really pleased to receive an advanced copy of this one to review. It is part of the Metropolitan Series by London but I didn't feel like I had to have read the other two previous books which I liked - nothing worse than picking up a book and realising it's a part of a series!
I found the characters engaging and the story was really gritty, I was really interested throughout and a few times I gasped out loud. I'd definitely recommend it to others to read - I found the comparison to Broadchurch well founded and thought it was a really good read. I've already lent it to a friend so that I can discuss it with her!
